What if I just move the front roller/ bow stop aft?  Would that accomplish the same thing?
Yep . . .
She has a name!  It's nice to have crafty friends who can do the things I would botch. Smile

A minor modification.  Added a 1/2 ID bronze flange bearing to the hole in the stern breasthook and VOILA!  Instant sculling/rudder oarlock socket!

Greetings Will,

Of course, you will actually be using a longer oar for the sculling, correct?

Cheers,
Tom

It is nice to see that Spring is progressing down south where you live! (more grass, more foliage along the fence behind Badger). It is currently 46°F up here at the 42 parallel as I suite up in my winter Ronde kit for a training ride. Global warming my ass! I haven't even had to cut the grass yet; maybe tomorrow.
