We are in the middle of a gale, the barometer is falling like a stone. Oddly it is in the high 60's (and raining sideways).... glad I'm not on the water today. YIKES! I'm glad my fleet is tucked up tight on the hard and I'm not having to worry about my chafeing gear all day.
I just got back from checking my C22 in its slip at the lake - My boat is fine but a few are looking like they'll take trips on their own if they aren't nailed down better. While I did what I could, I ran out of spare lines and fenders so they'll be left to the whims of the winds and waves.
It always amazes me at the number of boats that are "out of sight, out of mind" :?: :?:
