Hey all you hosers up there in The Great White North:
Happy Canada Day... eh!!!
We have fireworks and such here too. It was raining pretty hard last night so not many were going on. My son and I went out into the garage and fired off a 21 gun salute from the cannon though.
Yesterday started iffy, with cloudy skys, gusty winds, and 12C temps. The parade was a hit as usual, then music and food in the park. We are with the AFS student exchange program and have our windup BBQ that evening every year. Things cleared up and warmed up for that event.
Up here we don't launch fireworks, with 24 hours daylight, nobody could see them. We use them at our winter carnival instead.
Today is quieter, and I plan to sail the Ginny Rae this afternoon. The day looks sunny and 24C 8)
