After reviewing the long range weather forcast I have made my mind up to Hibernate until late Spring. Everything that needs to be done on my boat needs warm weather so it will be comfortable to work out doors.
Now don't you put your tools away just yet Ed. I just looked at the forcast and it supposed to be in the 60's next week. I might just take a boat out sailing on Friday if it's that warm. I have some things to do to my boat too and really gotta get it in gear and do it. I promised my wife a new kitchen too. I'd better get working or I'll miss sailing when it's warm enough to really do it.

Stay busy

Warm? Comfortable? Georgia?
We were forced to wait to begin our Weekender till very early spring. It was March and we couldn't stand it anymore so we set up saw hourse in the driveway and started lofting. It was a great feeling to be starting our own boat. The kids would pull off a mitten to scribe a line, then would bundel right back up. It was -20 F. We did have to take all the parts to a shop for glue up, but eagerness can trump weather most every time. But then again we choose to live in Fairbanks Alaska so our judgement may be suspect. Smile

I must admit though that the next fall we built a warm, snug boat shed. One boat building sesson in those conditions was plenty.
Mark,

Some pesky Santa Claus left his sled in my garage, with the key and the helmet. I'll never get any work done while that red monster is in the way. I geuss I'll just have to move it

These dang winter distractions are almost too much to suffer through. And these four day weekends that I have to take off every holiday are murder.

Come on snow, poppa's wants to ride.
