Just got done glueing up all the strips for a birdmouth mast. I have visqueen plastic between the two halves, so that I can separate them to install filler blocks where hardware goes thru. I made a cradle from 1"x4"'s and half circles of pvc pipe. That was the easiest way to hold the parts in alignment while I clamped them together with a lot of large zip ties.

I wanted to do a bird mouth mast too, but I done in stead of that mast easy one, but at least as strong as it.
If you let me; I would like to share for friends as an example here that, they will want to build sail mast.

Pole diameter 10Cm. Size 7M. Material is spruce
