I launched my Vacationer yesterday and I have not put on the sails yet. I was wondering if my set of Weekender sails would work on the Vacationer. The lake I'm on has a lot of heavy wind and is very gusty much of the time and last season I used Vacationer sails reefed all the time, so I'm thinking that the Weekender sails may be better plus if I reef them on extreme days I will likely  have a more relaxed time.

It's worth a shot.  If you already have them, go for it.  I am going to launch my 18 foot yawl with my weekender sails that I made.  I also have a lapper that I made for the weekender, so I have three plastic sails that will roughly fit the new boat. Go for it.
