Hi all,
I send links to 33rd Lake Garda Optimist Meeting, the yearly Easter regatta that this year gathered over 860 children (but past years they have been more than 1000).
This is the biggest single class regatta of the world and these brave young sailors faced winds over 24 knots!.

I was personally involved because Iâm member of the organizer sailing club, because my daughter was sailing in the regatta and because I spent 3 whole days in the rubber dinghy at the staring line.
BTW Italian sailing rules require one support dinghy every 10 boats at least, so you can just imagine how more that 100 inflatables and launches (trainers, red cross, organizers, jury, security, firemen, TV and so on) were there in the regatta area.
Really a wonderful kermesse that opened the our sailing season.
