As a few readers of this forum may remember, I built and posted photos of two scale models of my Weekender, Kingsfold. I started work on the real keel today. A couple of photos can be viewed on my blog http://kingsfoldsailboat.blogspot.com/. Since this is essentially my third time through the process, laying out the station marks and drawing the curves went very smoothly. The only head scratching occurred when I needed a more flexible strip to draw the curve that leads to the stem. A two inch wide strip of quarter-inch ply I had laying around did the trick.
