Anybody have recommendations for marine grade ply in the Hampton Roads VA area?

John:  It depends on what kind and how much you need.  If simply marine grade fir, you may find that at local big box stores.  If you're looking for meranti ar okume in larger amounts (10, 20 30 sheets)  I would use Homestead and pay the shipping (which I think was about $150 for my Vacationer plywood).  They are the best price available, and great to work with.  The markup on locally obtainable meranti and okume is so great, they're a bargain even with shipping costs.  They are in Ohio.  I live in Wisconsin.  Here's their website:  http://marine-plywood.us/

The Hampton Roads area is full of builders of every type, so local sourcing should be likely. World Panel has an outlet in NC, so shipping will be about $150 to you.
