Manitowoc/Two Rivers WI will have a Salmon Fishing Derby July 5th - 7th. Go to WWW.NEWGLSF.ORG for details. Open to power boats with a special division for kayaks & other paddled or rowed craft. Don't see why a sailboat like my Weekender would be left out. Starts at Midnight 12:00AM on July 5th ends at Noon on Sunday July 7th. Kayak or any non-powered boat can be launched anywhere there is access from Two Rivers to Manitowoc. Both Two Rivers and Manitowoc have boat ramps for trailers and there lots of free parking spots if you can carry the boat down to the beach. Paddlers Park in Two Rivers is only a mile from the harbor entrance and is only for hand launch boats. This is a great fishing event with food and drinks and music.
