Hello from SW Florida.  I am currently in a 11 year build of my Weekender.  It was started three citys, three houses, two jobs and two kids ago.  I got to the point of 3D, but that is where it has stood for a few years.  For some reason or anouther I have been bitten by the bug again and want to finnaly compleat this project.  I'm hoping to be done by spring. 
I have seen some pictures of open weekenders and that seems like a fun modification.  Does anybody know of any plans to do this?

Welcome back!  Bill Paxton built an open Weekender called "Surprise".  He posts on the Builder's Board frequently.  I'm sure he will be glad to share some of the tricks involved in the build.

Welcome and welcome back to boatbuilding.  Funny how life can interrupt these projects.  It's taken me 3 years to get to this point on my boat, and it's no coincidence that my daughter is now two.  :-[
