so, i'm done the deck and cockpit, going to let it cure till saturday when my tour ends then its time to flip it over, do the last few coats on the hull, then its rigging time! also a pic of my tiller, rudder and bowsprit. the tiller and rudder both came from the 25 year old bombardier invitation that came with my $300.00 trailer. the bowsprit is fir. after i sanded off 25 years of varnish, i stained everything with a chestnut stain, and have put on 1 coat of spar varnish so far.
starting to see the end of the tunnel. i'm off all next week hope to get the majority of it done, still need to modify the trailer, make the sail, but soon, the SANDING WILL FINALLY END!!!!!! (for now anyway)
