Hello All
I just finished up installing a homemade jiffy reefing system on my Weekender. In the driveway, it works pretty well. I have been able to reduce sail without leaving the cockpit in well under a minute, minus tying off the points along the boom. I realize that on the water facing a building wind, things will be much different. My question is: are there any potential problems inherent in these systems that I should be on the lookout for?Â
