I've got my eyes and heart set on building a Vacationer, but I'd sure like to see one in person before jumping in. I'm not even above mooching a ride as deck hand for a sail. Problem is, I'm in central Kentucky - not exactly a bastion of sailing havens. I know Idlyer was from around here. In fact, Dave's photo blog said he made the maiden voyage in Green River Lake. I live 5 minutes from Green River Lake, so I do actually have a place to sail. However, I'd still like to see one in person. Email me and I'd love to get a conversation going with a captain in the area.
