Has anyone sailed in the Las Vegas area? I am thinking Lake Las Vegas or Lake mead primarily but anyplace close would be cool also. Just your experiences, opinions or observations. Stories about winning a bundle are ok to as long as you sailed before, during or after winning.
Been to Las Vegas many times. But never went sailing. I have also been to Lake Mead many times. It's a beautiful lake, but the last few years the water level has dropped dramatically. Lake Las Vegas is rather small by comparison. But a small sail boat would be fine.Â
The boat ramp at Las Vegas bay is the boat ramp from hell. The lake has dropped so much the ramp had to be extended.Â
