I'm building a pocket cruiser and am almost ready to start rigging. I'm looking for a better sail than a tarp but still cheap ? Any help would be great ! Or is the tarp a good way to go ? This is my first boat so Like I said any help would be great !

I think the Parachute material would be to flimsy for a sail and would stretch . The Tarp sails believe it or not are quite durable and good looking as well. and they come in a variety of color's.
The best material to make sails from. and can be quite pricy, Is Dacron, Very durable, and wont stretch out on you.
The Tarp Sail's will get you a few season's though and are easy and quite cheap to make.
