Hello all,
It's been quite a while since I was last on the forum and it appears that my membership got deleted. Anyway, I have re-joined because I finally decided that I was finally going to build "the boat" once and for all. Right now I am building a small skiff from plans I got from Uncle John's. I wanted to do something small to get some experience under my belt before jumping into this project. The end goal is a Vacationer.
I do have a question; has anyone ever modified the keel on the bow to be tapered down to a V edge? That's the one thing on the boat that I have always thought looked a bit awkward in the pictures.
