Does anyone wax their boat? I realize if you use actual bottom paint you probably don't but how about those who use other type paints?

I was thinking about it, but haven't gotten around to it. There are some spots on top that are a little scuffed and I was thinking of polishing them to see what happens.

Wax is another layer of protection and I usually try to wax all surfaces facing weather, just for the extra UV protection.
The hull can be made to look nice, but more importantly, is easier to keep clean if waxed. You can hose off a dirty boat with wax or you can wash a dirty boat that's not waxed, your choice. Only gloss or semi gloss paints can be waxed. Flat paints will absorb the wax and you'll end up with a blotchy mess.
