I wandered away from the forum for a while, but I wanted to let everyone know that I am making slow but steady progress on my Pocket Cruiser. Feel free to stop by my blog (http://buildaboat.wordpress.com/) for pictures and updates. Let me know what you think!

I am also writing a monthly column for Duckworks. The last column, posted August 5, is based on a interview with Pete Stevenson and discusses his design philosophy. Here's the link to the story: http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/09/colu.../index.htm.
Paul  Just keep on keeping on. You will get there, it took me 2 years to build Magnolia my P/C. Over the years I have had many hobbies and dabbled in almost everything I wanted to. At some time I think everyone have there doubts about finishing. No let me restate that, getting the boat far enough along to go sailing. I am not sure you ever get finished.  All this said building my boat has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done and she is like one of the family. I am not sure Magnolia is a she when I talk to her she doesn't talk back or correct me. Anyway your boat looks good and you are going to love her. Bud
Bud,

Thanks for the encouragement--and for all the helpful advice over the past few months. Did you see the picture of the bilge board box? I followed your suggestion regarding placement when I had trouble getting it to fit under the deck.
