I'm almost ready to take a vote on keel material! Ryerson felt red oak and ash are OK for a keel if maintained. Paul says no. Should I change my plans and go to plywood, Doug fir etc., or stick with my plans, use the ash/red oak and maintain the boat like you often need to take care of a woman? Intensively. Help!!! ???
