This year I organized a sailing club for kids aged 12 and up in Pittsburgh. So far we have about 20 members. We have built 1 10 ft spindrift (90% complete) and I bought a lockely (snark) from craigslist, and 2 MAC 10s from Carnegie Mellon University that have not had much use in 30 years. I have a weekender as well. And I have a sailing instructor that is willing to help teach the kids. I would like to have an outing but I don't know what ideas I should incorporate that will make it successful, and what pitfalls I should avoid. Since many of you have considerable experience in these matters, I would appreciate your advice.
