Lights, camera....... action.

http://groups.msn.com/SandbarsandDriftwo...hotoID=413

Tis the season. Let's lend our support to Richard and the refit gang by lighting our boats for the season as a show of solidarity. All for one and one for all. The spirit of this group can NOT be hacked...... so drag 'em out, light 'em up and show your support.
Don't have the boat finished? or HEAVEN FORBID, don't have a boat.

Light up something nautical..... your wheel, your rudderbox, your oar, fenders, crab/lobster floats, your "jolly roger" Confusedhock: Confusedhock:

As soon as this rain lets up enough to uncover Lil Bit and Regina Adelaide, I'll light them up and take some pictures for you. I got the wife an early Christmas present in the form of a digital camera, so now I might be able to get a few pictures worth posting!
I've got Fat Chance pushed up into the front yard, my buddy Mad Dawg came in last night, we plan to light her up today. Big Grin

Then we are headed to the Eastport Yacht Club's lighted boat parade in Naptown, they have over 70 boats signed up this year. It is one of my favorite holiday events. Yahoo, pass the Pusser's matey. (It's going to be around 10* when the boat parade starts).

Got her all lit up.... blue lights for the water, colored around the toe rail and rudder, pink jib and white main sail. Maybe Karl will take a photo of her and post it for you guys.... looks pretty festive.
Angie

I’m posting a couple of pictures of FAT CHCANCE all lit up for Christmas.
They’re a little dark.

Yo Karl, sorry I missed you. I still tire easily and had already gone to bed when I saw the flash from the camera go off. I thought "some damn fool" is out in this weather? (hollowing wind, rain, sleet and snow) Confusedhock: I did not even think about it being you and drifted on off for a long winters nap.... Anyway, thanks for coming by and taking the photos. I can't open them, but it may be my machine. See you on Saturday, we are looking forward to it, come hungry! Smile
the links don't work for me either....wish they did...I would love to see the boat lit up!

It appears that the link sends you to a site but my browser says it cannot find phvrf.yahoo.com. This is not listed in the post but it looks for it and can't find it and goes into error. Don't know if this helps or not.
